Our vision at Milton Admissions is to work with families on a one-on-one basis, giving each student and their family the attention they deserve in order to help them navigate college admission in a clear, directed way with a positive attitude so as to elevate their chance for finding the best college fit.
Erica H
She is a student at Princeton University, studying computer science with a certificate in finance and Japanese. Based on our recommendation, she decided to quit varsity tennis and started focusing on areas of interest to her. With more free time, she has worked to launch a Nano-satellite into LEO, co-founded an international organization to help underserved girls learn STEM with the support of Google, UC Irvine, etc., interned at Draper Laboratory, formerly a MIT-affiliated laboratory, performed computational biological research at UC Irvine, founded and headed multiple clubs at high school. Since graduating, she has participated in Google’s and Jane Street’s program for college freshmen.
Among her many accolades, she is a Coke Scholar, Bank of America Student Leader, NCWIT national winner, Edison Scholar, Beckman Legacy Award – 1st place., etc. She is also a recipient of many independent scholarships, making college affordable for her and her family. She is also working to helping FGLI students through the college admissions process via Princeton University.
She is fluent in English, Mandarin, Japanese and conversational in Spanish.
Alissa H
She is a student at UC Berkeley, studying cognitive science, computer science, and data science. Despite the short amount of time after moving to America and before applying to college, based on our recommendation, during high school, Alissa helped to found an organization to assist girls from underserved communities with STEM education, found an emergency preparedness club to help the community deal with disasters, and participated in a Facebook program for girls. She was also appointed to the national board of FEMA’s (Federal Emergency Management Agency) Youth Preparedness Council for two years.
At UC Berkeley, Alissa has participated in research on Internet privacy and
published her findings on Digital Cloning on Wikipedia. She is also one of Google’s instructors for its computer program for college freshmen. She also holds leadership positionat for AccelerateHer, and hosted the AccelerateHer Startup Weekend. She is a UC Berkeley Regents and Chancellor’s Scholar finalist, Cal Alumni Leadership Awardee, and received other scholarships including those from Japanese American Treaty Scholarship and Google. Working with Microsoft, she is also providing STEM materials for primary grade students in underserved communities.

Michael
He has spent most of his career as a financial executive in New York, London, Hong Kong, and Tokyo working for various multinational firms including Morgan Stanley and one of the largest hedge funds, responsible for all of Asia’s trading. He had worked both on the sell-side as a derivatives structurer, and buy-side as a portfolio manager for traditional long-only as well as a hedge fund.
He has been an active participant in his local community, including PTSA from elementary to high school for many years. He has studied in the U.S., Japan and London, and is a graduate of the MBA program at The Wharton School at University of Pennsylvania, and has served as an alumni interviewer for both Wharton MBA since 1998 as well as for the undergraduate program at University of Pennsylvania.
He is fluent in English, Mandarin, Taiwanese, and Japanese.
Meiko T
She has a wide range of business experience including roles as a management consultant with the Boston Consulting Group in Tokyo, Hong Kong, and Shanghai, as a marketing executive for a top entertainment company in Tokyo and Hong Kong, and as an entrepreneur featured on Businessweek and CNN. She has been featured in many magazines and books in Japan as well as the US. She is also active with the local school district PTSA. She has a MBA from The Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University.
She is fluent in English, Japanese, Mandarin, and conversational Cantonese.
